Our stylish planter boxes are made from cedar, roll on heavy duty castors and each box is sold with a filterwrap liner. Cedar has exceptional physical properties that make it an exclusive softwood species.
It has a distinctive aroma from naturally occurring compounds called thujaplicins and the presence of thujaplicins allows the cedar to resist moisture and acts as an antifungal agent. Cedar is a durable wood, it absorbs and discharges moisture to achieve balance with the surrounding atmosphere and its exclusive colouring reflects natural light amber, warm cinnamon and deep sienna brown.
